About OBSE
Olympus Business Services sp. z o.o. (OBSE) came into operation on July 1, 2018 when its first two employees joined the company. In the following years, the team grew to 270 who now work together in the Retro Office House on Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego Street (69) in Wroclaw.
OBSE is a part of Olympus Europa organizational structure and the center for shared business services for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), ensuring the harmonization of administrative support functions across the entire EMEA region.
The company currently delivers several services to its Olympus subsidiaries in EMEA:
- Finance
- Sales Support
- Supply Chain Management
- HR
- BI
Diversity plays a major role at OBSE. The team speaks fourteen different languages: German, French, Italian, Spanish, Norwegian, Dutch, Croatian or Czech – just to name a few. More than 10 percent of the employees are internationals. The management team comprise of 50 percent female and 50 percent male colleagues.

Corporate structure
The organization of Olympus and its numerous subsidiaries comprise sales business centers, manufacturing business centers as well as service and repair facilities. The sales organization is split into three divisions:
- The Medical Systems Division, which is Olympus' largest business segment, provides customers with diagnostic and therapeutic technologies ranging from endoscopes through to professional imaging systems.
- The Corporate Division is responsible for all core business functions such as finance and administration, HR and IT.
The Olympus communication symbol
The combined Olympus logo and yellow auxiliary element (opto-digital pattern) is known as the Olympus communication symbol. It is designed to visually express the Olympus brand identity.
In use since 1970, the Olympus logo has been carefully designed to convey an impression of high-quality and refinement. The design of the opto-digital pattern communicates an image of light with the potential for infinite expansion. It represents the opto-digital technology and dynamic innovative capabilities unique to Olympus.
This communication symbol serves the important function of showing that Olympus stands behind its products while, at the same time, communicating the Olympus brand image.
